Important Notice

Discontinuation of ordering prescriptions by telephone

From 1st January 2016 we will no longer be accepting repeat prescriptions by telephone.

This is a decision made by the GP's for reasons of patient safety and the risks involved with accepting repeat prescription requests by telephone.

Repeat Prescriptions

Please note all prescriptions should be ordered and collected from the clinic building between the hours of 8am to 6pm. If you collect your medication from the White Rose Pharmacy, your prescription will be sent to them as usual.

There are a number of ways you can order your repeat prescription:

  1. Completing your prescription counterfoil and placing it in the prescriptions box in Reception
  2. Posting your prescription counterfoil to the surgery address
  3. Ordering your prescription online (download the Airmid or NHS app)- please ask Reception staff to grant you access to online services.
  4. Order your prescriptions by email on prescriptions.whiterosesurgery@nhs.net
  5. Alternative arrangements can be made for housebound patients and palliative care patients

Advice for ordering your prescription online

In co-operation with SystmOne, our computer system supplier, we're providing a service that enables you access to your healthcare online.

Ask Reception to grant you access to online services. You can then download the Airmid app or NHS app.

Once you've created an account, you will be able to use the online services of your practice. These may include appointments, repeat medication, secure messages, medical record view and updating your personal information.
